Understanding Generative AI Applications in Digital Mental Health Tools

Purpose

Our research team is designing digital tools that can help people manage common mental health concerns like feeling down, depressed, sad, or empty. The purpose of this study is to better understand the experiences, preferences, and needs of adults (ages 18 and older) who have experienced depression and to generate ideas for using technology and Artificial Intelligence to help people manage their symptoms and improve their mental health. This information will help guide our design of digital tools for people with mental health conditions.
